Regarding the expected price of the Realme U series phone, we think it will be priced similar to the Snapdragon variant devices from the company (like the Realme 1, 2, and 2 Pro).

Basically the MediaTek Helio P70 is considered to be equal to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. But, the thing is, there are no Snapdragon 710 phones in India yet, so Realme U series’ timing couldn’t have been better.

Even the Realme 2 Pro costs just Rs. 13,990 and it features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dewdrop notch display, 409 PPI, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90.8% screen to body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and has 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

The device runs on Color OS v5.2, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The Realme 2 Pro is equipped with Dual Pixel cameras with a 16MP Sony IMX 398 sensor, an f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens, EIS + 2MP, LED Flash, and a 16MP selfie lens. The phone is backed by a 3500mAh battery. Unlocking options on the device includes Face Unlock and a rear placed fingerprint Scanner.

The company’s tweet about the Realme U series phone does not mention a launch date.
