Realme 9i with Snapdragon 680, 50MP camera, 90Hz display launched in India

The Realme 9i is here, it is the first phone in India to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The 4G mid-range phone sports a 6.6-inches FullHD+ IPS LCD screen that supports 90Hz refresh rate.

The display has minimal bezels, and a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio with a 16MP f/2.1 aperture selfie lens placed in the top left corner of the panel. The device runs on Android 11 with realme UI 2.0, and has 4GB/6GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB of storage. The octa-core processor is assisted by an Adreno 610 GPU. The handset is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Realme 9i has a a dedicated microSD card slot as part of the triple card array, which supports up to 1TB of additional storage. The 4G phone is compatible with dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac networks, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/AGPS/Beidou/Glonass/Galileo. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker grille.

The main camera on the back panel is a 50 megapixels f/1.8 aperture sensor, while the other two lenses in the triple-camera set up consists of a 2MP Macro Lens with 4cm focus, and a 2MP Portrait Lens, both with an f/2.4 aperture. The phone supports 33W Fast Charging through a USB Type-C port to charge the 5000mAh battery. Thanks to the large cell, the Realme 9i weighs 190g, and sizes up at 164.4 x 75.7 x 8.4mm.

Realme 9i price in India

Realme has priced the 9i at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB model, while the 6GB/128GB trim costs Rs. 15,999. The phone will be available in 2 colourways: Prism Black and Prism Blue. It will go on sale from January 22nd on Realme.com and Flipkart.
