The Realme 5 Pro and Realme 5 have just been announced in India. Here’s what the phones boast in terms of specs.
The Realme 5 Pro is equipped with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a screen to body 90.6% ratio thanks to a water-drop notch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, with an Adreno 616 GPU. The device will be available in 3 variants 4GB/6GB/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. It runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie.
The quad camera specs of the Realme 5 Pro comprises a 48MP primary camera with a Sony IMX 586 sensor, a 1/2 inch sensor, an f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP Wide-Angle lens with an 119° FOV, an f/2.25 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, a 2MP Portrait lens with an f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size, and a 2MP Ultra Macro lens 4cm, with an f/2.24 aperture, and 1.75μm pixel size.
The selfie lens is a 16MP Sony IMX 471 camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and 1.0 μm pixel size.
The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports Dirac HD sound.
The phone has a rear-placed fingerprint scanner and is backed by a 4035 mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The 20W USB Type-C which is provided in the box can charge the battery from 0-100% in 80 minutes. The Realme 5 Pro back panel has a holographic design with a colour-flowing effect. The phone has a splash-resistant design.

Realme 5 Pro price
The Realme 5 Pro price starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant, the 6GB/64GB has a price tag of Rs. 14,999, and the high end 8GB/128GB will cost Rs. 16,999. The phone will be available from 12 PM, on 4th September at Flipkart and Realme.com.
Official cases for the device have been priced at Rs. 399, and will be available from September 21st.
The 64MP camera phone which the company has been teasing, is called the Realme XT, and will be launched in September.
