Here is an alleged image of upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 3, thanks to a leak on Weibo. Have a look:
Earlier:
Xiaomi’s scheduled launch event in China on May 31, celebrating eight years of company’s existence appears to have loads of products up its sleeve that include Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi Band 3 and MIUI 10. Apart from these three announcements (already confirmed officially), rumours indicate one more announcement of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE which may be something like “Special Edition” in limited quantity.
Ahead of the official launch on May 31, the pricing details of Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has surfaced on Chinese social network Weibo which indicate that the next generation of Mi Band will be priced at just 169Yuan (~$26 or Rs.1800). The leak doesn’t reveal any details about the Mi Band 3 except the pricing.
If this leak is indeed credible, it indicates a price increase of 20Yuan (~$3) over Xiaomi Mi Band 2. If you remember Xiaomi Mi Band 2 was priced at 149Yuan when it was officially launched in June 2017. Mi Band 2 features a heart rate sensor, which was not available in the first gen Mi band. MI Band 2 display shows the time, step count, heart rate, power, calories and other information such as notifications for SMS, Phone Calls etc. The battery life of Mi Band 2 is said to be increased by about 55% compared to first gen band and claimed to last 20 days which is impressive for a device with Bluetooth and an OLED display.
At the moment we are not sure what additional features/hardware upgrades that this new generation of Mi band will offer. As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
