Poco C50 with Android 12 Go launched in India

Poco has launched a new affordable phone called the Poco C50 in India. And as expected, it appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A1+.

Poco C50 launched in IndiaThe Poco C50 sports a 6.52-inches HD+ screen. The LCD panel has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, supports 400 nits brightness, 120Hz Touch Sampling Rate, and has a 20:9 Aspect Ratio. The device runs on Android 12 Go, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz, with an IMG PowerVR GE6320 GPU. The mobile has 2GB/3GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and supports up to 512GB of additional memory via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The main camera set up on the Poco C50 consists of dual lenses; an 8MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, a Depth Sensor, and an LED Flash. The selfie lens on the smartphone is a 5MP snapper. Both the rear and front cameras support 1080p Full HD video recording at 30 frames per second. Poco has packed a 5,000 mAh battery in the phone, and it supports 10W Fast Charging via a Micro USB connector. The device has a single speaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio output.

In terms of connectivity, the Poco C50 supports Dual SIM cards, 4G LTE, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, and Beidou location services. The mobile weighs 192g, and measures 76.45 x 164.9 x 9.09 mm. Sensors on the phone include an Accelerometer, Virtual light sensor, Virtual Proximity sensor, and a rear fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

Poco C50 price in India

The Poco C50 has been priced at Rs. 6,499 in India for the 2GB/32GB trim, while the 3GB/32GB version costs Rs. 7,299. The device will be available for purchase from January 10th on Flipkart. The mobile will be avaPoco C50 launched in Indiailable in 2 colours: Royal Blue and Country Green.

Poco is offering a launch day discount on the phone, you can buy the 2GB/32GB model for Rs. 6,249, and the 3GB/32GB version for Rs. 6,999.
