Google is preparing a Stephen Curry special edition of the Pixel Watch 5, according to leaked marketing materials shared by @OnLeaks and MyMobiles ahead of the August 12 Made by Google event. The limited edition pairs the standard silver 45mm LTE Pixel Watch 5 with an exclusive woven loop band and carries a price tag of €579.99 — roughly €31 more than the standard model’s expected €549.
The hardware itself appears identical to the regular Pixel Watch 5 — the Curry branding is entirely on the band. The exclusive woven loop comes in stone grey and taupe with bright orange borders running along both edges. A brown label on the exterior displays “Stephen Curry” and his “#LockIn” hashtag, tying it to the NBA star’s personal brand.

Google is marketing the band with a water-repellent coating positioned for workout use. However, the company’s own fine print notes that the water protection is not permanent and may diminish or be completely removed over time through normal wear, environmental exposure, and regular use. That is a meaningful caveat for a band priced at a premium — buyers should expect the coating to degrade, not last the life of the watch.
The design follows a template Google already established with the Fitbit Air earlier in 2026, which debuted its own Stephen Curry edition with a similar aesthetic. Bringing the same branding to the Pixel Watch 5 signals Google is treating athlete partnerships as a cross-brand strategy spanning both Fitbit and Pixel wearables.
Pricing and Expected Availability
The leaked €579.99 price applies to the 45mm LTE configuration — the only variant shown in the leak. Whether Google will offer a smaller 41mm size or a Bluetooth-only option for the Curry edition remains unclear. For reference, the standard Pixel Watch 5 is expected at €549 for the same 45mm LTE model. US and UK pricing has not yet surfaced.
Google’s Made by Google event is confirmed for August 12 in New York, with Curry himself reportedly on the guest list. Pre-orders are expected to open immediately after the keynote, with shipping anticipated around August 20 alongside the rest of the Pixel 11 and Pixel Watch 5 lineup.
