The Pixel 11 series is official. Google has announced the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL, all three built around the new Tensor G6 chip, all three open for pre-order now, and all three reaching shelves on August 20. In Google’s own words from the announcement: “Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL are available for pre-order today starting at $899, $1099, and $1299. All three phones will be on shelves at the Google Store and our retail partners on August 20.”
Pixel 11 price and availability
In the US, the Pixel 11 starts at $899, the Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099 and the Pixel 11 Pro XL at $1,299, with 256GB as the starting storage tier across the line. Google’s US store is running launch offers alongside the pre-order: “Get up to $500 back with eligible trade-in”, and either “$130 off the new Google Pixel Watch 5 or $100 in Google Store credit when you buy the new Google Pixel 11 (Unlocked)”. Financing is listed from $11.08 per month over 36 months.
The Google Store India is live too. The Pixel 11 is listed at ₹89,999 and the Pixel 11 Pro at ₹1,19,999, with launch offers advertised as “up to ₹30,603 in value” on the Pixel 11 and ₹9,000 instant cashback that requires a minimum transaction of ₹58,499. One gap worth flagging: Google Store India does not currently carry a separate Pixel 11 Pro XL listing — the Pro XL URL resolves to the shared Pro page — so there is no official India price for the Pro XL yet. Treat any rupee figure circulating for it as unconfirmed. Pixel 11 specifications and what actually changed
The camera is where Google spent this generation. The main sensor is new and larger, and the telephoto has been rebuilt rather than carried over. The design change is subtler but real: the camera bar is now flush with edge-to-edge glass, which Google says makes the phone “virtually bumpless when paired with a Made by Google case”.

- Memory: 12GB of RAM on the Pixel 11; Google’s store lists “Up to 16 GB RAM” for the Pro models, varying by configuration

- Main camera: new 48MP sensor with 56% more light sensitivity; Night Sight capture up to 4.5x faster
- Telephoto: upgraded 48MP 5x lens with 30% more light sensitivity, Portrait Mode at 5x, 30x Super Zoom and Pro Zoom to 120x
- Display: Actua on the Pixel 11; Super Actua up to 3,600 nits on the Pro models, with a coating Google says more than doubles scratch resistance
- Charging: Pixelsnap built in, Qi 2.2 25W on the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro; Google claims 15 hours of battery in 15 minutes on the Pro XL with its 45W charger
- Security: new Titan M3 chip, with post-quantum cryptography extended to secure boot
- Software: seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates
- Colours: Pistachio, Hibiscus, Frost and Obsidian on the Pixel 11; Canyon, Fog, Olive and matte Obsidian on the Pro models
Two things buyers should notice
HiLight, the LED ring around the camera flash that glows for calls and Gemini activity, is a Pro-only feature — Google’s own copy scopes it to the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL. And the temperature sensor that debuted on the Pixel 8 Pro in 2023 is gone: Android Authority reports Google confirmed to it that no Pixel 11 model carries a thermometer, with HiLight occupying that spot in the camera bar. If you bought a Pro partly for that sensor, this is a removal, not an upgrade.
The other detail worth reading carefully is the software bundle. Google is including six months of Google AI Pro with the Pro phones, which covers higher Gemini usage, 5TB of storage and Google Health Premium. That is a genuine perk for half a year — and also a six-month runway into three paid subscriptions that renew at full price unless you cancel. Note the calendar before you forget it.
