Oppo is set to announce Oppo R9S during the launch event scheduled on 19th October in China. Earlier rumors have suggested that Oppo R9S is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It comes with 16 MP front shooter for selfies and is backed by a 3010 mAh battery along with support for VOOC flash charge.
Today a new listing on benchmark portal Geekbench confirms some of these rumored specifications of Oppo R9S. As per the geekbench listing, Oppo R9S is powered by 2.0 Ghz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor and 4 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
The geekbench listing even though do not give any details on Camera sensors or battery capacity, rumors indicate that it comes with 16 MP camera with new Sony IMX398 sensors for both primary & secondary cameras and is backed by 3010 mAh battery along with support for VOOC flash charge.
