Nothing OS 5.0 Beta Reaches Three More Phones: Full Rollout Schedule

Nothing has expanded the Nothing OS 5.0 open beta to three more phones: the Phone (4a), Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. Alongside that expansion, the company has published a staged calendar covering open beta and stable release dates for the rest of its lineup. That fills the gap left when Nothing OS 5.0 was announced in August with no device list attached.

Open beta: what is live now

• Nothing Phone (3): on open beta since late August.
• Nothing Phone (4a) Pro: joined earlier this month.

Not on the schedule

The original Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) do not appear anywhere in this calendar. Nothing has not said these models are ruled out of Nothing OS 5.0, so the accurate reading is that they are simply not listed. Owners of either phone have no published date to work with at this point.

How to join the open beta

Enrolment runs through Nothing’s own beta app rather than a standard system update prompt.

1. Download the latest Nothing Beta Hub app APK.
2. Install it on your phone.
3. Open Settings, then go to System, then Nothing Beta Hub.
4. Tap Check version.
5. Tap Join Beta.

The open beta build then arrives over the air within minutes of registering. Nothing’s own community post carries the full enrolment instructions if you want them from the source.

One caveat before you join. A beta build on your daily phone means accepting bugs that the stable release exists to catch. If your phone’s stable date is only weeks away, waiting costs you very little.
