Nexus 7 2013 owners, you’re in for some pretty fantastic news.

Nexus 7 2013

The tablet will reportedly get Android 6.0 Marshmallow after all.

Android Police’s Artem Russakovskii, suggests that the 2 and a half year old tablet will get the Android 6.0 Update. His blog has had an excellent record of leaks, so it’s pretty likely that his prediction will come true. That unfortunately is bad news for the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 7 2012, both of which he says will not get the update.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow, is scheduled to be launched on September 29th along with the two Nexus phones, the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P. We already know that the update will begin rolling out on October 5th, and hopefully will be released for the Nexus 7 2013 as well.
