NexPhone now targets the end of Q1 2027 for preorder shipments. Its FAQ puts that at March 2027 and calls the date an estimate. New preorders cost $599, secured by a $199 deposit that the company says is fully refundable.
The NexPhone lists Android 17, Debian and Windows 11 on a single device. Android Authority reports that it was originally due in November 2026 and that antenna interference caused the delay. Neither detail appears on the NexPhone pages we checked. The FAQ simply calls March 2027 the current target and promises updates if the schedule changes.

What the NexPhone March 2027 target means for reservers
The date is not a promise. NexPhone says the estimate still depends on finishing development, validation, certification and production preparation. Its FAQ adds that a reservation holds your place in line but does not guarantee a delivery date.
Pricing and Availability
What you pay depends on when you signed up:
- Early reservations: $549, leaving a $350 device balance after the $199 deposit
- New preorders: $599, leaving a $400 device balance after the $199 deposit
The company expects the phone to cost more once it reaches retail. Here is how its FAQ explains it:
We expect the final retail price to be higher because of rising memory component costs, but that will not change the device price secured by your preorder.
— NexPhone FAQ
That price lock covers preorders only. Buyers who wait for retail may pay more if NexPhone’s expectation holds. The FAQ gives no figure for the cost increase. For context, Huawei says the memory shortage adds about $200 to a phone’s cost, according to a Finimize report we covered earlier this month.
US preorders ship from NexPhone’s US warehouse. Other direct-shipping countries are served from Hong Kong or another nearby hub. Import duties, VAT and taxes may apply, depending on local rules.
Some countries will get the phone through an authorized reseller or local distributor instead. Buyers there can join a waitlist with a $1 deposit. That deposit only confirms interest and is separate from the $199 reservation deposit.
