A new Motorola device has been spotted on benchmarking website, Geekbench. The device has the model number Moto XT1650, and given the specifications, it is without a doubt that it will be the next flagship from Motorola.

Moto XT1650 Sheridan

German blog WinFuture says the device has the codename Sheridan.

The Moto XT 1650 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) processor, which has its 4 cores clocked at 1.59GHz. Why Motorola didn’t clock it at its max potential of 2.0GHz remains to be seen, but then again, this is merely a leaked benchmark. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and has 4GB of RAM.

The device managed to score 2309 and 5344 points on Geekbench‘s Single Core and Multi Core tests respectively. It is rumoured that Motorola will be launching some new devices in May, especially the new higher specced Moto G devices, which we reported about recently.
