Moto G51 5G with 50MP Camera, 120Hz display launched in India

The Moto G51 has just been announced in India, as expected. This is the Lenovo-owned brand’s most affordable 5G phone.

The device sports a 6.8-inches Full HD+ LCD panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 120 Hz Refresh Rate, and has an 83,81% Screen to Body Ratio. The selfie camera housed on the screen is a 13 megapixels snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone runs on Android 11 with My UX, Moto Gestures and Google Assistant.

The G51 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus processor with an Adreno 619 GPU, has 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB of storage, and supports up to 512 GB of additional memory via a microSD card slot.

The G51 supports 5G mobile networks with 12 bands, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac2.4 GHz | 5 GHz, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, and Galileo location satellites.

The main camera set up on the rear of the Moto G51 comprises a 50MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens that has an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.

Motorola has packed a 5000mAh battery in the phone, and supports 20W Fast Charging via a USB Type-C port. Sensors on the G51 5G include a Notification LED, Proximity, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and a Magnetometer (compass). The handset has a fingerprint scanner, and supports face unlock via the selfie camera, for biometric authentication.

The phone weighs 208g and measures at 170.47 x 76.54 x 9.13 mm.  The device has a single speaker grille, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and supports Dolby Atmos audio.

Moto G51 price in India

Motorola has priced the Moto G51 at Rs. 14,999. The device will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting 16th December, and will be available in 2 colourways: Indigo Blue and Bright Silver.
