It hasn’t been a month since the Moto G 3rd gen was launched, but it has already gotten its first of one of the most popular custom Android versions available

A group of developers at the XDA forums, have ported the Cyanogenmod 12.1 ROM (based on 5.1.x Lollipop) for the new device.

According to the thread (linked below), all features are reported to be working fine, including the Camera, FM Radio, WiFi, GPS, etc. But since this is an unofficial port, and its in a very early stage, it may not be advisable for daily use just yet.

If the Moto G 3rd gen is your primary device, I would recommend waiting for a weeks, during which the developers may fix any bugs present in the ROM.
