Earlier today, we reported about the official timeline in which Xiaomi plans to rollout the MIUI 6 update for Redmi and Xiaomi phones.
But it appears that the update is already available for the Mi 3 in India.

We received a tip from an Mi 3 user, who also sent us some screenshots after he installed the update. The build number for this update is MIUI 6.3.2.0(KXDMINL), and it runs on Android KitKat 4.4.4. The OTA update is around 543 MB in size.

He also said that the phone’s performance has improved, and is smoother than MIUI 5. The MIUI 6 update should be available automatically, if it isn’t you can check for it manually.
