Micromax has just announced Canvas Nitro 2 which is the next version of Micromax Canvas Nitro. Micromax claims to have sold 5,00,000 units of Canvas Nitro smartphone so far. Canvas Nitro 2 is priced at Rs. 10,990.
The new smartphone sports a 5 inch HD IPS Display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by 1.4 GHz Octa Core processor supported by 2GB DDR3 RAM.
It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat as operating system and comes with dual sim support.
In terms of camera, it comes with 13 MP autofocus rear camera and 5 MP fixed focus front camera. It comes with 16GB of internal storage along with support for expandable memory up to 32 GB via microsd cards.
The thickness of the device is reduced to 7.5mm as compared to 9.3 mm of original Canvas Nitro.
It is powered by 2400 mAh battery giving upto 9 hours of Talk Time and 250 hours standby time.

Canvas Nitro 2 will be available at best buy price of Rs. 10,990 from May 13, 2015.
