The Micromax In 2b is all set to make its debut on July 30th. That’s according to a teaser page that has surfaced on Flipkart.
The promo page reveals the complete design of the phone. The Micromax In 2b sports a large screen with a water-drop notch at the top, to house a selfie camera. The bezels aren’t exactly slim, and the chin bezel is quite large, but that is to be expected for a budget phone.
If you look closely at the image you can see a fingerprint reader on the rear panel. The device will come in three colours: Black, Blue and Green.
The teasers don’t tell us what the processor on the device is, instead it hints that the Micromax In 2b has a high-power chipset, with a GPU G52. But we don’t think it has a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, because a Geekbench listing revealed that the device has a Unisoc T610 processor, with 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 11.
The phone scored 350 points in the single-core test, and 1204 in multi-core tests. One of the images on the Flipkart page tells us that the Micromax In 2b scored 176847 points on AnTuTu Benchmark.
The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery, but it doesn’t mention whether the device supports fast charging. On the rear are dual cameras placed in a vertical array, along with an LED Flash.

Given that the entry-level Micromax In 1b was priced at Rs. 6,999 in India, we expect the Micromax In 2b price tag to be similar.
