Leaked Galaxy S10 display panel design confirms dual punch-hole selfie cameras

Yesterday, we reported about some Galaxy S10 Plus unofficial renders, which revealed an odd design. Today, a leaked Galaxy S10 display panel design has popped up and it doesn’t really surprise us.

Leaked Galaxy S10 display panel

This picture shows the design of the Galaxy S10’s display frame. And it pretty much matches the previously reported design.

The frame of this leaked Galaxy S10 display panel does look minimalistic, and shows thinner bezels than what we saw in the renders. So, if we see the phone from this angle, the design doesn’t look bad at all.

Our only question is this, what is the cutout on the top of the leaked Galaxy S10 display panel for? Look at this picture and you will see what we are talking about. The metal frame shows a microphone just above the selfie cameras, perhaps that cutout will house the mic.

If the design of the leaked Galaxy S10 display panel from Weibo, matches the one from yesterday’s renders, hopefully the rest of the design is true as well. You know what that means, the Galaxy S10 will have a 3.5mm headphone jack after all.

We can only speculate, and will need to wait till around MWC 2019, for Samsung to officially launch the Galaxy S10.
