If you own HTC 826 in India, here is some good news for you. HTC is rolling out Android 66.0 Marshmallow update to users in India. HTC 826 was launched in January 2015 with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop operating system and HTC had promised a planned upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The screenshot above is shared by Dazzler Jenith on twitter which shows an interim update which prepares the HTC 628 for Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. That interim update is 52.12 MB in size and needed before the user can receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update.

The OTA update should be reaching all users pretty soon and you can check manually if the update has reached your phone or not by going to “About Phone” settings .
