WhatsApp Messenger is a fun way to communicate with your family and friends. By default, the app’s settings allows all users to view your profile photo. But should you really let everyone on the internet to see your picture? Here is how to hide your WhatsApp profile picture.

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Tap on the three-dot menu and select Settings.
3. Next, tap on Privacy.
4. Tap on the option that says Profile Picture. This has several options. Setting it to nobody, means no one, except you will be able to see your display picture. On the other hand, if you set it to everyone, your profile picture will be visible to all users. You can limit this to a certain extent by selecting “My Contacts”. But, for the best privacy, you should set it to “My Contacts except”.
5. WhatsApp will display a list of all your contacts. Select the ones who should not be allowed to view your photo. For example, if you chose 5 people in the list, they will not see your profile picture anymore, while everyone else in the list can view your photo.
Similarly, you can also configure your Last Seen, and About privacy settings to prevent other people from accessing your recent activity.
