Samsung’s Galaxy F70 5G goes on sale in India on October 20 at 12 noon, through Flipkart. The 4GB RAM and 128GB model costs ₹19,999, and the 6GB and 128GB model costs ₹22,999. Samsung launched the phone on October 18 with an Exynos 1330 chip, a 50MP OIS main camera and a 5,000mAh battery.
That price puts it in a crowded bracket. It also has to compete with the TECNO Spark 50s 5G, which launched at the same ₹19,999.
Galaxy F70 5G Price in India and Availability
- 4GB RAM + 128GB: ₹19,999
- 6GB RAM + 128GB: ₹22,999
Flipkart is the confirmed sales channel, and its product page showed a sale countdown on October 19. We could not confirm a listing on Samsung’s own India site as of the same day.
Flipkart’s buy button also shows a lower effective price of ₹17,099 for the base model. That figure includes bank offers and is not the launch price. What you actually pay depends on the card you use, so check the offer terms at checkout.
Which Galaxy F70 Is This?
The F70 name already covers another phone. The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G arrived in August with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and a starting price of ₹25,999.
Earlier this month, the F70 5G surfaced on Google Play Console ahead of launch.
Android 15 at Launch
Flipkart’s spec table lists Android 15, and Fone Arena reports One UI 7.0 on top. Google began rolling out stable Android 17 to the Pixel 6 and newer back in June, according to GSMArena. So the F70 5G starts life two major Android versions behind the current release.
Fone Arena reports that Samsung promises four Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches. That is a solid pledge at this price. Still, it counts from an older starting point than a phone launching on Android 17 would get.
Samsung’s Flipkart renders also call the phone the segment’s best camera, brightest display and slimmest phone. Those are Samsung’s own marketing claims, and we have not tested them.
Specifications
The display is a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Some reports said 120Hz, but Flipkart’s listing says 90Hz. Storage is 128GB on both models, with a microSD slot for expansion.
