BlackBerry have announced that their popular Instant Messaging app, BBM will get in-app Stickers.

BBM

Stickers are very popular among IM app users, especially on Viber and Hike.

And now BlackBerry are planning to introduce the same fun stickers in their app to attract such users. But on the downside not all sticker packs will be free, and instead will be available as in-app purchases within the BBM app.

The available stickers will include, characters like CosCat, Gilbert’s Tales, Bubble Bot and even characters from TV shows and Movies. Though they plan to add the latter two after launching the sticker shop.

On the bright side, at least one set of stickers will be free, and that is the BBM’s emoticons sticker pack.

The BBM shop is in limited beta, so we will have to wait for a public beta or a fully available version soon. We will keep you updated on this as we get more information.
