Asus has launched a new mid range smartphone Zenfone Max Pro M1 for the Indian smartphone market which competes with Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro in the price and features. Three variants of Zenfone Max Pro M1 are announced based on RAM + ROM combinations with price starting at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM combination.
Zenfone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) 18:9 2.5D curved glass display, powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform along with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB of RAM. The 6GB RAM variant will be available later on. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based stock Android operating system and Asus promised at least two major Android version upgrades for the device in future.
In terms of camera, it features a dual camera module at rear consisting of 13MP + 5MP sensors while there is 8MP front shooter, for the 3GB / 4GB RAM variant. In case of 6GB RAM variant, it features a dual camera module at rear consisting of 16MP + 5MP sensors while there is 16MP front shooter. The phone is backed by 5000mAh battery with fast charging support.

It will be available in Deepsea Black and Gray color options exclusively from Flipkart starting from May 3rd. The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version with 16MP primary rear and 16MP front camera for Rs. 14,999 will be launched soon.
