Asus ZenFone C with 4.5″ Display, 1GB RAM, and 5 Megapixels Camera launched for Rs. 5,999

Asus has launched another budget phone in the sub-6000 Rupees range in India.

The latest offering from the company is the ASUS ZenFone C.

The phone sports a 4.5″ FWVGA Display (480 x 854 pixels), and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with ZenUI. It is powered by an Intel CloverTrail processor with quad-thread Hyper-Threading Technology, clocked at 1.2 GHz, and 1 GB of RAM.

It has 8GB of on board storage, with support for expandable memory up to 64 GB in size. The Zenfone C has a 5 Megapixels Camera on the rear with PixelMaster Technology, an f/2.0-aperture, Auto Focus, LED Flash and some useful modes.

  • Low Light mode for taking good quality pictures in the night even without using the Flash
  • Backlight (HDR) mode which ensures the foreground is clear even in challenging backlit scenes
  • Time Rewind which can take pictures even before the shutter button is pressed and
  • Depth of Field to create stunning miniature-world effects.

It also has a 0.3 Megapixel front camera for video calling. The phone is packed with a user removable 2,100 mAh battery. The Zenfone C is Dual SIM phone which supports Dual Standby.

The ASUS Zenfone C comes in three colours: Red, White and Black. It has been priced at Rs. 5,999 and will be available from Flipkart from 11th February, and at ASUS exclusive stores from the 18th of February.
