The Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for the Moto E is rolling out in India.

There is no official word about this news, nut there are a few screenshots from an XDA user which appear to be the real deal.

The OTA Update is currently available for the Moto E XT1521 4G LTE Dual SIM variant. As usual, the phone needs to be running on the stock firmware without any modifications to the system partition, for the update to be installed. If you rooted the phone, follow this guide on XDA to restore the stock ROM and then update your device to Marshmallow. Be advised that the process for restoring the stick firmware will erase your data.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for the Moto E has the version number 24.51.39.en.03
