A day after announcing the name of the next version of its mobile operating system, Google has officially released the Developer Preview Images for Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The only devices which have the images for now, are the:
- Nexus 5
- Nexus 6
- Nexus 9 and the
- Nexus Player
You can use Google’s official guide to flash the preview images on one of the supported devices. And here is the page with the download links for the new firmware.
If you already have a Developer Preview image installed, you will get an OTA update for the latest version.
Google is expected to release Android Marshmallow for Nexus devices, in the last quarter of the year, along with the LG Nexus 5 2015, and the Huawei Nexus 6.
