LlabTooFeR, the famous Russian leaker, has announced on Twitter that Google is prepping to release the next version of its mobile operating system soon.

Android-M-Marshmallow-5.2

The Mountain View company released Android  6.0 Marshmallow, at the end of September this year.

And it appears that we cold see Android 6.0.1 in the next few months. The version number indicates it will be a minor update,  most likely some bug fixes. But that isn’t the only word from the leaker, he also claims that Google will release Android 6.1 next year. This could be a major update, and might add in some new features, perhaps the hidden multi-window which we saw in the developed preview version of 6.0?

Both versions of Marshmallow are already available in the Google Labs, but there is no exact ETA just yet.
