After loads of leaks, Oppo Find 7 is finally unveiled by Oppo in Beijing as promised. Oppo Find 7 can take 50 MP pictures as the leaks suggested though that is possible with a small tweak and the sensor is actually a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 CMOS, not a 50 MP one.

Oppo Find 7 is the world’s first smartphone which comes with a Quad HD display with 5.5-inch screen (resolution of 1440×2560 pixels) and a whopping pixel density of 538ppi. The device is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor which is same as that on Samsung Galaxy S5.

Oppo Find 7In terms of RAM, the device comes with 3GB of RAM. In terms of internal memory, it comes with 32GB inbuilt storage along with support for expandable memory like micro SD Cards.

The device runs Color OS 1.2 which is a customised version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean developed by Oppo for its devices.

It comes with 13 megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor rear main camera with LED flash, and another 5-megapixel front camera with BSI sensor. The device is capable of taking 50 MP photos by taking 10 pictures and then merging them into one with the Super Zoom feature. It can record 4K videos and also record 720p 120fps slow motion videos.

In terms of battery, the device is powered by a 3000mAh battery. It can charge up to 75 percent in 30-minutes of charging using Rapid Charge technology.

Price and Availability

Oppo Find 7 has been priced at CNY 3,498 (~Rs. 34,500 approximately) and will be available starting May or June in China. Oppo though is yet to release any information about Find 7 release in other countries and it’s pricing. We will keep updated as and when we hear something about it.
