Samsung is selling its Certified Re-Newed Galaxy phones on Amazon.com for the first time. The US launch covers seven models and 14 storage options, from the Galaxy S24 FE to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Prices start at $489, excluding taxes and fees.
Every unit comes with a one-year limited manufacturer warranty and is eligible for Samsung Care+. That puts a factory-refurbished Galaxy with a Samsung warranty in an Amazon cart, not only in Samsung’s own Re-Newed store.

Which Certified Re-Newed Galaxy phones are on Amazon
Samsung’s announcement lists two storage options per model, each in a single color:
- Galaxy S24 FE: 128GB, 256GB
- Galaxy S24: 128GB, 256GB
- Galaxy S24+: 256GB, 512GB
- Galaxy S24 Ultra: 256GB, 512GB
- Galaxy S25: 128GB, 256GB
- Galaxy S25+: 256GB, 512GB
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: 256GB, 512GB
One example from Samsung’s release is the Galaxy S25 Ultra 512GB Re-Newed listing on Amazon. The Amazon list Samsung published covers S24 and S25 models only. The Galaxy S26 joined Samsung’s own Re-Newed store in September at $759, but it isn’t on this list.
What Certified Re-Newed actually means
All Galaxy smartphones are serviced by Samsung specialists and repaired with 100% Samsung genuine parts, including a certified new battery.
That’s how Samsung Electronics America describes the program in its announcement. Each phone also has to pass 147 quality checkpoints before it goes on sale.
The phones ship in 100% recyclable packaging with a quick start guide, a data cable and an ejector pin. Care+ eligibility means you can add Samsung’s protection for drops, spills and mechanical breakdowns.
What Samsung’s announcement leaves out
The release gives only the $489 starting price. It doesn’t list per-model prices, so you’ll need to check each Amazon listing yourself. It also doesn’t specify how many years of software updates these refurbished phones will get.
Recent models are still getting major updates, such as One UI 9 on Verizon’s Galaxy S24 series. Even so, compare the Amazon price with Samsung.com’s own Re-Newed store before you buy. Current deals on new phones are worth a look too, since a discounted new unit can sometimes beat a refurbished one on value.
