Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has confirmed two new Bluetooth speakers for Monday, October 12. They are the CMF Speaker S and the CMF Speaker M. Ahead of the reveal, a Sri Lankan retailer’s early listing has laid out most of the design and specifications. A separate set of FCC filings backs up the hardware.
Droid-Life found both speakers in the FCC database under model numbers E494 and E495, labelled as portable wireless speakers for the CMF brand. That is a second, independent paper trail. It sits separate from the Life Mobile retailer listing that both Gizmochina and Droid-Life used for specs.
Design
Both speakers share the same shape, described in the leaked images as something close to a milk carton. A gabled top doubles as a built-in carry handle. The Speaker S appears in matte black with the CMF logo, a round top button and an orange volume knob. The Speaker M shows up in four colorways in the leaked gallery: teal, orange, white and black.
CMF Speaker S Specifications
These come from the retailer listing rather than from CMF, so treat them as provisional until Monday.
- Audio — 40mm driver with a passive bass radiator, 12W RMS claimed
- Battery — 2,500mAh, rated for roughly 18 hours
- Connectivity — Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C charging
- Weight — 580g
- Durability — IP-rated, grade not reported

CMF Speaker M Specifications
- Audio — dual drivers with bass boost, 12W output
- Battery — rated for roughly 18 hours
- Connectivity — Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C charging
- Durability — IP54
- Controls — orange volume knob with a low-battery indicator, usable without an app
Worth noting from the leaked figures: both speakers are listed at 12W, even though the Speaker M is the pricier model with dual drivers. CMF’s own figures on Monday should confirm the output.

Pricing, and What Is Still Unconfirmed
Pricing is the weakest part of the leak. Gizmochina cites the Sri Lankan retailer at LKR 26,500 (about $80) for the Speaker S and LKR 39,500 (about $120) for the Speaker M. Droid-Life’s report carries no pricing at all, and CMF has not confirmed any numbers. A single-market retailer price is also a poor guide to what CMF charges elsewhere.
The retailer page itself could not be opened directly for this report, so the specifications above rest on two outlets’ reading of it. One piece of context worth remembering: CMF is in the process of splitting from Nothing to become an independent Indian company.
