Google Health app version 5.10 is rolling out now on Android and iOS, and the headline change is a country expansion. Irregular Rhythm Notifications, the feature that watches for signs of atrial fibrillation, are now available in Japan on Pixel Watch and Fitbit devices. Two other changes land alongside it. Sleep data now feeds into the Readiness Score, and you can delete a logged entry by asking the Google Health Coach.

AFib Alerts Now Cover Japan
Google’s own post describes how the detection works.
Irregular Rhythm Notifications are now available in Japan on Pixel Watch and Fitbit devices, analyzing your heart rhythm data in the background while you’re still or sleeping to check for signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib).
The practical takeaway for users in Japan is that the check runs in the background. You do not have to start it yourself.
Readiness Score Now Factors in Sleep
Google says the Readiness Score now draws on additional signals from your sleep data. The post does not list which signals those are.
The Google Health Coach Can Now Delete Entries
The third change is the most useful one day to day. You can ask the Google Health Coach to remove something you logged, such as a run recorded earlier that morning. That saves hunting for the entry inside the app. Google limits this to daily entries: workouts, meals, weight and symptoms.
Medical records are explicitly out of scope, which matters if you assumed the coach could clear everything in your health profile. It cannot. Google’s post also does not say whether a deletion purges the data on its servers or only removes it from the log you see. The stronger reading is not safe to assume.
Rollout
Google lists the update as version 5.10 on both Android and iOS. The company says the rollout is phased over the following week, depending on your carrier and device. If the new options are missing today, that is expected rather than a fault.
Google’s wearable calendar is busy either way, with the Fitbit Edge reveal set for October 12.
