Google has started emailing Pixel 11 pre-order discount codes to people who signed up for its Google Store teaser list, hours before the Made by Google event, and the amounts are not the same for everyone. The email carries the subject line “Ready for tomorrow? Your Google Pixel 11 offer is inside.” and contains a single-use code redeemable when pre-orders open.

How much the Pixel 11 discount code is worth
This is where it gets messy: the value appears to be assigned per account rather than set at one flat figure. 9to5Google’s Ben Schoon reported a $150 code and notes in the article that “values seem to vary per account. Some are only seeing $100, others up to $250.” Droid Life said the email it received was for $100 off, and listed other amounts it had seen as $200 USD, $150 USD, $150 CAD, £150, £20 and 20€.
The $250 top end that is doing the rounds is worth treating with caution. Neither outlet documented a $250 code in its own inbox — Droid Life attributes that figure to user reports, and on 9to5Google it appears in a reader comment rather than in the reporting. Treat $100 to $150 as the observed range and anything above it as user-reported until Google says otherwise.
Terms, dates and the fine print
Google’s promotional terms, as reproduced by 9to5Google, read in part:
Promotional code expires 8/27/2026 at 11:59 pm PT; while supplies last. Must be redeemed on Google Store or My Pixel app only. User must be signed-in to their Google Account and checkout with Google Pay profile, including a valid form of payment. Limit 1 per customer.
9to5Google reports the codes are US-only, which sits awkwardly with the pound and euro values Droid Life says it has seen, so international readers should check their own email rather than assume either way. The code applies only to unlocked or Google Fi devices, cannot be combined with another promo code, and can be stacked with store credit and trade-in value. Droid Life, which received the email, says it points to pre-orders going live at 7AM Pacific — ahead of the keynote itself, which Android Central lists as 6:00 PM ET on August 12.
Worth signing up for, with eyes open
Two things are worth naming plainly. First, Google collected email addresses for a month without disclosing what the offer was worth, and it turns out the reward for that varies by account with no published criteria — a lottery dressed up as an exclusive. Second, no Pixel 11 price is official yet. Every price figure circulating today is a leak, so a $100 or $150 code is only meaningful against a number Google has not confirmed. Wait for the event before deciding whether the code makes the phone a good buy, since it is valid until August 27 either way. Our earlier coverage of Google confirming the August 12 pre-order date has the storefront details.
