Galaxy Tab S11 India Price Hiked: Up to ₹16,000 More

Samsung has quietly raised Galaxy Tab S11 prices in India, and it hasn’t stopped there — the higher pricing spans the whole Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet lineup, taking effect on July 18, 2026. There’s no new hardware, no extra storage, and no fresh feature to justify it — the same tablets you could buy last week now cost between ₹5,000 and ₹16,000 more, depending on the model and configuration.

If you had one of these tablets in your cart, this is worth knowing before you check out: the increase is a straight price hike, not a repricing tied to any upgrade. Samsung didn’t announce it with any fanfare, and it applies to devices that are otherwise unchanged.

Galaxy Tab S11 India price: how much more you’ll pay

The steepest increases land on the flagship end of the range. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has gone up by ₹13,000 to ₹16,000 across its variants. To put a number on it, the 12GB/256GB Wi-Fi-only model has climbed from ₹1,24,999 to ₹1,37,999 — a ₹13,000 jump for the exact same tablet.

The standard Galaxy Tab S11 sees increases of ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 across its configurations. The 12GB/128GB Wi-Fi-only variant, for example, now sells for ₹1,01,999, up from ₹91,999.

The more affordable Fan Edition tablets are hit too, though less severely:

  • Galaxy Tab S10 FE+: up by ₹7,000 to ₹9,000 across configurations
  • Galaxy Tab S10 FE: the smallest hikes, ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per variant

Samsung hasn’t itemised every per-variant change for the two FE models beyond these ranges, but the direction is the same across the board: every tablet in these families is more expensive as of July 18. This also follows an earlier increase Samsung made on the budget Galaxy Tab A11 in the same market, so the pattern isn’t limited to the premium end.

Why did Samsung raise Galaxy Tab prices?

Samsung hasn’t given a reason for the increase. The likely culprit, though unconfirmed by the company, is the same one squeezing device makers industry-wide right now: soaring memory chip prices. Treat that as an informed assumption rather than an official explanation — Samsung has said nothing on the record about the cause.

It does line up with a bigger story, though. Just two days before this hike took effect, we reported that Samsung’s phone business may post its first-ever quarterly loss as memory prices soar. The same memory-cost pressure that’s threatening Samsung’s mobile margins is the most plausible force behind these tablet increases — the cost is now landing on the buyer.

What it means for buyers

The blunt takeaway: you now pay more for identical hardware. There’s no new feature, no bigger battery, no storage bump to show for the extra ₹5,000 to ₹16,000. If one of these tablets is on your shortlist and you spot old pricing still live at a retailer or in existing stock, that’s effectively a discount against the new official list price — worth grabbing before it syncs to Samsung’s revised figures.
