Poco C51 with MediaTek Helio G36 launched in India

Poco has launched an affordable mobile called the Poco C51 in India. The smartphone runs on Android 13 Go Edition, and the company has promised to support it with 2 years of security updates.

The Poco C51 sports a 6.52-inches HD+ display that has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, and 400 nights brightness. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and supports up to 1TB of additional memory via a dedicated microSD card slot. The selfie lens in the water-drop notch is a 5MP camera. The Poco C51 has dual rear cameras with an 8 megapixels primary sensor that has an f/2.0 aperture.

The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery, and charges via a micro USB port. The device weighs 192g, and measures 76.75 x 164.9 x 9.09 mm. Connectivity options on the Poco C51 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and MIUI Dialer. Poco has equipped the mobile with an accelerometer, and a rear facing fingerprint reader.

Poco C51 price in India

The Poco C51 has been priced at Rs. 8,499 in India. It comes in 2 colours: Royal Blue, and Power Black.  The phone will go on sale on April 10th at Flipkart. Poco is offering an introductory discount of Rs. 700 for the first sale, which means buyers can get the phone for Rs. 7,799.
