Motorola has launched the Moto G72 in India. The 4G smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
The device sports a 6.55-inches AMOLED Full HD+ screen with a 120Hz Refresh Rate, 576Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The display supports up to 1300 nits brightness, DCI-P3 Colour Gamut, HDR 10+. The screen has a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, 86.5% Screen-to-Body Ratio, and is home to an in-display fingerprint reader. The selfie lens on the display is a 16 megapixels snapper.
The Moto G72 has an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of storage. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The smartphone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Stereo Speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.
Motorola has equipped the Moto G72 with a 108MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, which is assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens/depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP Macro sensor. The mobile has a Hybrid SIM card tray that supports Dual SIMs and 4G LTE mobile networks. Other connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz | 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, and GALILEO. The handset weighs 170g, and measures 160.5 x 74.4 x 7.9 mm. It is rated IP52 for water repellance. Sensors on the Moto G72 include a Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, SAR Sensor, and a Magnetometer (E-Compass).
