Realme has announced two more devices in its 9 series. Meet the Realme 9 5G and the 9 5G SE.
Realme 9 5G
The phone features a 6.5-inches Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, 600 nits Brightness, and 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate. It runs on Android 11 with realme UI 2.0, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor, with 4GB/6GB RAM which can be expanded up to 11GB Dynamic RAM (5GB virtual memory). The device has 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 storage and supports up to 1TB of additional storage via a microSD card slot.
The selfie lens on the Realme 9 5G is a 16 MP, f/2.1 aperture lens. The triple camera array on the back of the phone comprises a 48MP f/1.8 aperture primary sensor, with a Monochrome lens, and a 4cm Macro sensor, along with an LED Flash. The handset is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, via a USB Type-C port. In terms of connectivity, the device is compatible with 5G and 4G VoLTE mobile networks, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. The phone weighs 188g, and measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.5mm. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

The Realme 9 5G Speed Edition has the same cameras as the regular model, but is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G processor, and an Adreno 642L GPU. It sports a 6.6-inches Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 11 with realme UI 2.0, has 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Realme 9 5G SE packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging via a USB Type-C connector. The handset measures 164.4 x 75.8 x 8.5mm and weighs 199g.

Realme 9 series price in India
The Realme 9 5G has been priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB/64GB version, while the 6GB/128GB trim costs Rs. 17,499. It comes in 2 colours: Stargaze White and Meteor Black.
The Realme 9 5G SE carries a price tag of Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB model costs Rs. 22,999. The device will be available in 2 colourways: Azure Glow and Starry Glow.
The phones will go on sale from March 14th on Realme.com and Flipkart. Buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 1,500 off of the Realme 9 5G’s price, or Rs. 2,000 off of the Realme 9 5G SE’s price while making the purchase using an ICICI Bank or SBI Bank Credit card, or Credit card EMI transaction.
