The Oppo Reno6 5G and Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G have just been made official in India. And as expected, Oppo has not announced the Reno6 Pro+ with the Snapdragon 870 processor in the Country.
Both devices were launched in China a couple of months ago, prior to today’s debit in India.
Oppo Reno6 5G
The Oppo Reno6 5G runs on Color OS 11.3 based on Android 11, and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G octa-core processor with an ARM Mali-G78 MC4 GPU. The phone has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
The Reno 6 5G is equipped with a 6.43-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports 90Hz Refresh Rate, 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The screen has an in-display fingerprint reader, a pixel density of 410 PPI, 750 nits brightness, 93.28% DCI-P3 Color Gamut, 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The selfie camera on the device is a 32MP f/2.4 aperture snapper with an FOV of 85°. On the rear, the Oppo Reno6 5G features triple cameras comprising a 64MP f/1.7 aperture lens with an FOV of 80°, an 8MP f/2.2 aperture lens with an FOV of 119°, a 2MP f/2.4 aperture lens with an FOV of 89° and an LED Flash.
The 5G smartphone is backed by a 4300 mAh battery that supports 65W Super VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 (fast charging). The device does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and relies on the USB Type-C port for audio, charging, and data transfer. The phone measures 156.8 x 72.1 x 7.59mm, and weighs 182g.

The Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G has a larger display at 6.55-inches, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset, an ARM G77 MC9 GPU. The phone has 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The selfie lens is a 32MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture and an 81° FOV.
The phone weighs 177g and measures 160.0 x 73.1 x 7.6mm in terms of dimensions. The Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G is backed by a 4500 mAh battery that supports 65W Super VOOC Flash Charge 3.0. Like the regular version, this one lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack port.
The main cameras on the Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G are a 64MP f/1.7 aperture lens with an FOV of 81,° an 8MP f/2.2 aperture lens with an FOV of 120°, a 2MP Macro lens, a 2MP B/W sensor, both with an f/2.4 aperture and an FOV 89°, and an LED Flash.

Oppo Reno6 5G and Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G price in India
The Oppo Reno6 5G price in India has been set at Rs. 29,990 for the 8GB/128GB version, and will be available for purchase from July 29th.
The Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G has been priced at Rs. 39,990 for the 12GB/256GB version, and will be available for pre-order from 5PM from today. It will be available for purchase from July 20th.
Both phones will be available via Flipkart, Oppo’s store and retail channels. As part of the launch offer, Oppo is offering an instant discount of up to Rs. 4,000 for purchases made with a Credit Card, Credit Card EMI, Debit Card from HDFC Bank, Kotak (Credit Card only), and ICICI Bank.
