The next generation of the Full-screen bezel-less device from Xiaomi i.e. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 may officially launch next month. An alleged launch teaser received by Androidpure suggests that Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will officially launch in the middle of next month i.e. on September 15. The launch may happen first in China, but lately, Xiaomi has ditched that trend by global launches of flagship devices in cities such as London.
The launch teaser also reveals almost negligible bezel even at the bottom of the display suggesting a much higher screen to body ratio compared with Mi Mix 2. Mi Mix 2 still has narrow bezels at the bottom having a screen to body ratio of 91.3%. At the moment, Oppo Find X has the highest screen to body ratio of 93.8% and going by this teaser, it seems that Mi Mix 3 may beat that.
AT the moment, not much is known about the hardware specifications of the device but you can safely assume most of the premium flagship specifications similar to Mi 8 explorer edition. We still need to wait for some leaks before we get some credible information about the specifications.

Let’s have a recap of the existing Mi Mix 2. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 sports a 6.0-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display (2160 × 1080 pixels) with negligible bezels on all sides except the bottom of the display and is powered by 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU along with 6GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) based operating system with MIUI 9 on top.
In terms of camera, Mi Mix 2 features a 12MP main rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor having f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, 4K video recording support and another 5 MP front shooter for selfies & video calls. The fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel, just below the main rear camera.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 151.8x 75.5 ×7.7 mm and weighs 185 grams. The phone is backed by 3400 mAh battery along with support for Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
