Sometime back we reported about the leaked renders of the device confirming the dual curved edge display, dual camera at the back and USB Type C on the smartphone. We already reported leaks that reveal its major hardware specifications claiming that Mi Note 2 sports a 5.5 inch OLED display, powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

Today we have a new rumor which suggests that Xiaomi may be launching two variants of Mi Note 2 instead of just one device. The leak points out that the lower variant or the standard edition of the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 along with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, while the higher variant or premier /plus variant is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

We have already earlier reported this higher variant powered by Snapdragon 821 with 6 GB of RAM. Both the variants will come with 3D curved glass screen. Apart from these hardware specifications, it sports a dual camera setup at the back, but at the moment we have no information about the camera sensors. Similarly, we have no clue on the battery capacity, front camera etc. The home button is expected to come with fingerprint sensor embedded with it.

As we say with each leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
