War Drum Studios has officially announced the launch date for the sequel to its popular interstellar RTS game, Auralux. The new game, which is called Auralux: Constellations,

Auralux Constelations

In case you haven’t heard about Auralux, it is a planet war game, quite similar to Euphoria. The challenge here is that you will be facing multiple enemies, who are also enemies towards one another.

Not much is known about the price of Auralux: Constellations, but if the game follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, we could be looking at a bunch of free maps, and optional IAPs for more maps. Interestingly, the game will have online multiplayer in addition to the good old singleplayer mode too.

Another major change in Auralux: Constellations is that it features moving planets, wormholes, gas giants, supernovas. Watch the official trailer for the game below.

The gameplay does seem to be fast paced compared to the original one, but it could prove to be an interesting challenge.

Auralux: Constellations will be released for Android and iOS devices on August 25th. Should you wish to play it on PCs, you can buy the game from Steam.

While we await the Android launch of Auralux: Constellations, head over to the Play Store and download the original Auralux for free.

Tips for playing Auralux:

It’s all about the numbers. 1 of your units will defeat 1 of your enemy units. 10 will defeat 10, and so on. So the more number of units you attack or defend with, the better the outcome of your battle. And you will need units to capture and heal planets, so always let the enemies expand to newer planets, while you build your army’s numbers around your  Sun.

Expand to one or two nearby planets, especially those which you can defend. Then rally your army to your planet which is closest to your enemy, and take it over. You could even let your enemies battle each other and then rush your army to defeat them after they have been weakened.
