Imangi Studios have published what we could call a rather major update for Temple Run 2.
Yes that is a Water Slide. Wheeee!
Adding a Water Slide to the game definitely changes the gameplay, as you will have to slide your way out of danger now, in addition to all the other obstacles. Might take a few runs slides to get used to the new obstacles.
And, that’s not all the developers have also added some new objectives and artifacts for you to collect. Plus, a superb holiday gift, and what’s a better gift than Santa Claus himself.

The new artifacts included in the update are Santa Hats and Mysterious masks. Finding all the Christmas artifacts will unlock the Santa Hat for your characters.
Try as I might, I couldn’t get any of the Christmas artifacts yet, so I don’t know what they look like. Here are some other screenshots from the update.
