We covered the recent update about JetPack Joyride introducing the Jet Ski aka the Wave Rider and their new rolling inventory system.

But there was a bug which prevented Android users from unlocking the Wave Rider or even buying it.

The buy/unlock button were totally non-responsive, and a couple of days ago, fans of the game took out their frustration and complained to Halfbricks’ Twiiter and Facebook accounts. However the Australian Studio responded promptly by acknowledging the issue and promised to fix it soon.

And yesterday, they did just that by updating the game from version 1.5 to, well its still 1.5 but they have indeed fixed it.

A quick tip on how to get more coins in JetPack Joyride:

Unlock all the vehicle magnets for, then unlock the “Free ride” and  “Flash ” gadgets. You may have to buy some gadgets as prerequisites before getting the two gadgets.

This will enable you to start with a vehicle every time you play the game. And they will attract the coins while Flash will help you collect coins &  Tokens. Then you can spend your money on other gadgets.. costumes or golden vehicles. You can also concentrate on finishing missions to earn more coins every time you level up.
