Gameloft are it again. They have begun teasing yet another of their upcoming games with a teaser trailer.

Asphalt 8 Airborne

Asphalt 8: Airborne will be arriving this summer.

Asphalt 8: Airborne is a gravity defying racing game and incredibly the 8th game in the series. And as far as I know will be the fourth  version of Asphalt to be released on Android. The others were Asphalt 5: HD , Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Asphalt 7:Heat

Let’s take a look at some of the screenshots that I took from the video teaser.

The graphics are incredible and the daredevil stunts set in the breathtaking environments such as the Nevada Desert, The Monaco track, The City streets of London, Tokyo, the snowy Iceland roads are just mind blowing.

The game uses a new physics engine and will also have weather effects such as dust, rain and snow. Asphalt 8 will have multiplayer too, synchronous and asynchronous modes. Speaking of multiplayer there are two new modes in the game:  Gate Drift & Infected.

Gate Drift: You have to drift through multiple gates. You can increase your score by drifting more.

Infected: This is more or less “Tag” played with cars. A player starts as the infected and must hit another car to pass the infection along and regain their health. If  you fail to pass the infection within 20 seconds you are eliminated.

Here is the teaser trailer. Make sure you watch it in HD

The game will cost $0.99

Oh Gameloft, stop teasing us and bring the games to Android already.
