MoboPlayer was my favorite video player on my Android Phone, i.e until recently.
The latest version of Mobo player has been sneakily updated to include ads. And it is not just an ad on the bottom of the screen, but a huge pop-up ad. When you play and video, and hit the back button it brings up the huge ad screen with a remove button, which appears to be broken, as it doesn’t take me to Google Play or any other website.
Obviously I am not pleased with this, they have ruined a perfectly good app with pop-up ads. I use Dice Player on my Nexus 7 and will probably use something similar on my phone as well.
Ad banners are ok, but I will never support any app which displays pop-up ads. The same goes for Air-push ads as well.
