The realme P4s 5G launches in India on 26 August 2026 at 12PM, and realme has already put most of the spec sheet on its own teaser page rather than saving it for the event. The headline number is the battery: realme describes it as “8000mAh+”, paired with 80W wired charging, on a phone running MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra.

realme P4s 5G specifications confirmed so far
Everything below comes from realme India’s own launch page for the phone, not from a leak. It is a partial sheet — the teaser sets out the battery, chipset, display and main camera, and we could find no RAM or storage tiers, software version, front camera or secondary rear cameras stated on it — but what realme has confirmed is unusually specific for a pre-launch teaser.
- Battery and charging — realme states “8000mAh+” with 80W fast charging. Note the plus sign; realme has not committed to an exact capacity figure yet.
- Processor — MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, which realme markets alongside a “HyperVision+ AI Chip”.
- Display — a Samsung panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K “Super Resolution”, and up to 6,500 nits brightness. The nits figure is a peak measurement on a small window of the screen, not the brightness you will see across a full white page.
- Rear camera — a 50MP “AI Wide Camera”. No sensor model, aperture or stabilisation detail has been given.
An 8,000mAh-class cell is the interesting part, and it is becoming the defining feature of this price bracket rather than an outlier — it is the same headline figure Xiaomi is using on the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, which goes global on 27 August, a day after this one. Battery capacity is where the mid-range fight has moved.
Pricing and availability
realme has not announced a price, and it has not named a retailer or said when the phone actually goes on sale — its page commits only to a 12PM launch on 26 August.
There is, however, a clue hiding in realme’s own small print, and it is the most useful thing on the teaser. The banner calls the P4s the “Segment’s New Performance King” — a marketing line, and one realme footnotes rather than defends. The footnote says the claim rests on Techarc Smartphone Launchboard secondary research, and that it refers to a combination of specified features among smartphones priced under ₹30,000 as of 31 July 2026. In other words, the superlative is a comparison realme drew itself, against a list it defined itself, inside a sub-₹30,000 bracket. Treat the claim accordingly — but the bracket it names is the clearest signal yet of where the P4s will be priced.
The teaser artwork also carries a badge for a “realme P4s Priority Pack”, which the badge prices at ₹499 — a figure printed on the marketing image rather than stated in the page’s text, so treat it as provisional. realme’s page has not spelled out what the pack contains or how long it stays available, so anyone planning to buy one should read the terms on the offer page at launch before paying for it, rather than assuming it is a straightforward discount voucher.
What to watch on 26 August
Three things are worth waiting for rather than guessing at. First, the exact battery capacity — “8000mAh+” is not a number, and the difference between 8,000mAh and 8,200mAh matters less than whether realme is quoting typical or rated capacity. Second, the base variant’s RAM and storage, because memory costs are pushing India prices up across the market this year and the entry tier is where that shows. Third, how many years of Android version and security updates realme commits to; the P-series has historically been quieter about that than its spec sheets.
We will have the full pricing and specifications when the phone is official next Wednesday.
