Add your favorite icons to Android Status Bar

There are many ways to customize the  status bar of your Android Phone, but some require rooting the phone. Now you can add your favorite icons to the Status Bar of your phone thanks to a tiny app called Anotify (doesn’t need root). If you are a iPhone user, you may be familiar with Zeppelin Cydia Tweak which replaces Carrier Name With Batman, Superman, Pac-Man And more Logos. Anotify can be called as Zeppelin for Android. Currently the icon list consists of logos of popular brands, National flags and our favorite superheroes like Batman, Superman,  Spiderman and many more (I’m Batman :p ).

Anotify

You can access Anotify from the app drawer, and it is the only way to change the icons. Taping on the status bar icons just displays some information about the icons in the app. Also, clearing the status bar notifications clears the icon too, so perhaps the author needs to fix it.

The Developer says a new version with more icons will be added in the future. Anotify doesn’t need any safe or unsafe permissions to run and doesn’t cost a dime, so what are you waiting for ?

Grab Anotify from Google Play  :)

Even though for many, this app doesn’t add any value to their Android Phone but this App does the job for those guys who want to give a bit of fancy look to their notification or status bar of the phone.
