Redmi 6A is one of the most popular entry-level smartphones from Xiaomi, though was available via flash sales only till date. The company has just announced that Redmi 6A 2GB+16GB variant can be bought at any time for INR 5,999, starting midnight today across mi.com, Amazon and Mi Homes. The company also announced that Redmi 6A has become the best-selling smartphone since its launch in September 2018, as per IDC Monthly Smartphone Tracker, November 2018 release.
The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 with 12-nm quad-core processor and comes in two variants of RAM & internal storage combination i.e. 2GB+16GB and 2GB+32GB. In terms of camera, it sports a 13MP main rear camera while on the front it comes with a 5MP selfie camera. Other features include AI face unlock and 4G VoLTE support. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery but no fast charging support.
