Almost two months back, Xiaomi announced two flagship devices i.e. Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE in China. Out of these two devices from Xiaomi, Mi 8 came with only 6GB of RAM with different variants for internal storage (64GB / 128GB / 256GB) with no 8 GB RAM variant.
Today, Xiaomi has unveiled one new variant for the Mi 8 with higher RAM. The company has launched Mi 8 8GB RAM variant in China which will be available for sale starting 14th August.The new 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant of Mi 8 is priced at 3299 Yuan (~$485 or Rs. 33,000). The price is the same as that of 6GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. This announcement of the new variant makes a total of four available variants available in China for the Xiaomi flagship device.
The price for earlier variants are as follows:
- 6GB + 64GB : 2699 yuan (~US$ 420 / Rs. 28,500)
- 6GB + 128GB : 2999 yuan (~US$ 470 / Rs. 31,600)
- 6GB + 256GB : 3299 yuan (~US$ 510 / Rs. 34,800)
