The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G India launch date has been confirmed by the company. The device is set to arrive at our shores on September 29th.

Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE

Xiaomi announced three phones yesterday in Europe, including the 11 Lite NE 5G, Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro.

Here’s a recap of the mid-range handset’s hardware info.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G Ne is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor with an Adreno 642L for the graphics, and ships with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device is equipped with a 6.55-inches Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, and packs a 4250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.

The phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and relies on the USB Type-C port and Dual speakers for audio output. The Mi 11 Lite 5G NE has a 20MP selfie lens with an f/2.24 aperture, and triple cameras on the rear with a 64MP f/1.79 aperture primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with an 119° FOV , f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP telemacro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, LED Flash.

In terms of networks, the device supports 5G, 4G VoLTE via Hybrid Dual SIM card slots, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou/QZSS/NavIC. Xiaomi is touting it as a super lite phone as it weighs just 158g, and measures 160.53 x 75.73 x 6.81mm. According to a promo page for the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G India launch date, on the company’s site, the smartphone will be sold via Amazon India.

Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G India launch date

Xiaomi has priced the Mi 11 Lite 5G NE at 349 Euros for the 6GB/128GB model in Europe, that translates to about Rs. 30,000, which seems a little on the higher side, but we have to factor that Europe charges a lot of VAT. So, we could expect the device to be launched with a more affordable price tag in India.
