Xiaomi has announced the Redmi K50 Ultra in China. The flagship phone has a 6.67-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The screen supports a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, 480Hz Touch Sampling Rate, 5,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio, 12-bit, DCI-P3, HDR10+, and a 20:9 Aspect Ratio. The selfie camera on the phone is a 20 megapixels lens with a Sony IMX 596 sensor.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor, with an Adreno 730 GPU. It has 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, with 128GB/256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
The main camera set up on the rear consists of a 108 megapixels lens that has an f/1.6 aperture, PDAF, OIS (optical image stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 120° FOV, an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Macro Sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.
Xiaomi has packed a 5,000 mAh battery in the Redmi K50 Ultra, it supports 120W fast charging via a USB Type-C port, and is capable of charging the phone from 0 to 100% in just 19 minutes. The mobile has Dual Stereo Speakers, an Optical Distance Sensor, a 360° Ambient Light Sensor, an Acceleration Sensor, an Ambient Color Temperature Sensor, an Electronic Compass, a Gyroscope, an Infrared Remote Control, a Flicker Sensor, and an X-axis Linear Motor

Xiaomi has priced the Redmi K50 Ultra starting at RMB 3,000 in China, for the 8GB/128GB model, at RMB 3,100 for the 8GB/256GB trim. The 12GB/256GB version costs RMB CNY 3,400, while the 12GB/512GB variant carries a priced tag of RMB 3,700. The Redmi K50 Ultra Mercedes F1 Edition with 12GB/512GB costs RMB 4,200.
